A Bit About Me
I am graduating from Emerson College in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. My minors are in Comedy Writing and Performance and Peace and Social Justice. During my time in school, I had over half-a-dozen internships with nonprofits and news outlets. I'd ideally like to work in column writing, political satire, and/or multimedia journalism. I particularly enjoy writing about elections and the impact of national issues on local communities.

I also became a published author at age twenty- my thesis from the Honor's Program at Emerson was selected for the peer-reviewed "NCHC Journal of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity." In addition to journalism and research writing, I also enjoy working in comedy and vocational training. Currently, I am a tour guide for Emerson College and Nightly Spirits Boston. Primarily, however, I work as a Registered Behavior Technician and a freelance reporter.
I've been chosen as a Future Leader by the Society of Professional Journalists, a Fellow of Investigative Reporters and Editors, and a scholarship recipient through the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association. I was also nominated for EVVYs in Outstanding Social Justice Campaign, Outstanding Special Production in Journalism, and Outstanding Opinion News Article. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me!
